Each piece of artwork in this section generally contains several different plants and not just one species or variety. However, although grouped together, each plant is still botanically correct and in keeping, both in time and place, with the other plants in which they were grouped.
The Delphinium found in 'Flowers from my autumn garden' would not normally be found in flower in the autumn when the remaining plants in the picture were either in flower or fruit. But, on this occasion, due to some unusual climatic conditions in recent years, this did actually flower then, providing me with the electric blue I was looking for to complete the picture.
